TAKG is a national grassroots program designed to encourage adults to take children to NCAA sporting events and the 2010-11 season marks the 16th year the Take A Kid to the Game program has promoted women and men's basketball. With the NCAA's support, over 700 TAKG games will be hosted across the nation, which will provide thousands of youngsters the opportunity to experience college basketball.
